We make carmoving fast & simple
"This once again demonstrates how fragile global supply chains can be," says Umut Dasdemir, CEO of carmovia, the Europe-wide platform for vehicle transport. "This development requires new, flexible, and resilient vehicle logistics solutions—this is precisely where we come in. I experience every day how profoundly these uncertainties can impact logistics and vehicle transport. More and more companies are faced with the question: How do you remain capable of delivering, cost-efficient—and sustainable at the same time? Especially in times like these, it is clear: rigid structures no longer work. What is needed are flexible, digital, and transparent solutions that adapt to the circumstances—not the other way around. One example: At carmovia, we consistently focus on fully loading transports in order to reduce costs for our customers and at the same time protect the environment. Full utilization means fewer empty runs, less CO₂, and better planning for everyone involved. That sounds simple—but in practice it is often a challenge, and that is precisely where we have the expertise.
Particular attention is currently being paid to the increasing imports of Chinese vehicles to Europe. More and more manufacturers from the Far East are looking for reliable logistics partners to transport their vehicles quickly and efficiently from European ports to the domestic market. carmovia offers digital, transparent, and scalable transport solutions – also leveraging existing infrastructure from its sister company FleetParQ.
In this context, our Managing Director will be on-site at Auto Shanghai in April to deepen partnerships with Chinese OEMs and pave the way for future collaboration. "Especially now, in a time of global uncertainty, personal discussions and trust are crucial. We want to be a reliable partner for the market entry of Chinese vehicles in Europe," says Umut Dasdemir.
It remains exciting to see how vehicle logistics evolves. We will continue to do our best to keep pace with the changing times and offer innovative solutions.
According to the BGL (Federal Association for Freight Transport, Logistics and Disposal), there is already a shortage of over 80,000 drivers in Germany and the trend is rising. At the same time customers expect shorter delivery times, transparent processes and if possible CO₂-neutral transport. This is where carmovia comes in.
