We make carmoving fast & simple

On October 22 and 23, more than a thousand fleet and mobility professionals from across Europe came together at LuxExpo The Box in Luxembourg for Fleet Europe Days 2025.
The event — a unique combination of conferences, the Fleet Europe Village, and the Remarketing Village — once again proved to be the beating heart of Europe’s mobility ecosystem.
For carmovia, being part of this year’s event as an exhibitor in the Remarketing Village was more than just an opportunity to network — it was a chance to showcase our vision for the future of vehicle logistics and to connect with industry leaders shaping what’s next.

A highlight of the event was our Village Roadshow presentation by Colin Rolf Josef Kaniyampalackal, Operations Manager at carmovia, titled “The Future of Vehicle Logistics is Modular.”
Colin introduced our modular logistics architecture, designed to make vehicle logistics more digital, transparent, and efficient — whether for single-vehicle transport or complex fleet movements.
At the core of our platform lies a SaaS-based modular system, consisting of three complementary elements:
All modules can be used in parallel — giving clients the freedom to tailor their logistics processes according to volume, urgency, and capacity.
The result: full process control, transparent pricing, real-time tracking, and end-to-end digitization
“Vehicle logistics today requires more than just a marketplace.
It requires a modular solution that manages costs, time, and capacity — all in one system.”
— Colin Rolf Josef Kaniyampalackal, Operations Manager, carmovia

Another standout of this year’s program was the session “Between AI and Autonomous”, featuring Eden Shirley (CEO, Autoguru) and Edward Kulperger (Senior Vice President, Geotab). Their discussion addressed one of the most pressing questions of our time: How can artificial intelligence transform fleet operations — beyond automation, toward autonomy?
As Edward Kulperger outlined, “data feeds AI — no AI without data.”
He introduced the concept of AI agents: systems that observe, plan, act, and evaluate, continuously learning from feedback loops. These agents will soon interact autonomously — for instance, a fleet telematics AI communicating with a service scheduling AI when a vehicle detects a fault code, triggering repair coordination automatically.
This philosophy mirrors what we at carmovia envision for logistics.
Our SaaS platform already forms the digital foundation for AI-enabled orchestration — a system where data from transport orders, carrier networks, and processes flow seamlessly, empowering AI agents to make logistics smarter and faster.
We discussed this evolution recently in our podcast with Sebastian Kreuzer, emphasizing how AI and modular system design go hand in hand: while modularity ensures scalability and transparency, AI enables automation, optimization, and predictive decision-making. Together they form the backbone of what we see as the next era of vehicle logistics — modular, data-driven and intelligent.

Across the Remarketing Summit, Inspiring Women in Fleet and numerous expert sessions, several key industry trends became clear.
Here are five insights that will define 2026 and beyond:

Our modular SaaS solution and upcoming AI integrations will empower customers to scale smarter, operate more transparently and manage complexity with simplicity.
We would like to thank the entire Fleet Europe team for hosting such an inspiring event.
And, of course, a big thank you to everyone who visited our booth, joined the discussions and shared their insights with us.
We’re already looking forward to Fleet Europe Days 2026 — and to continuing the conversation about how modularity, data and AI will transform the logistics of tomorrow.

The fleet and mobility industry is undergoing profound change. Digitalisation, increasing complexity, sustainability requirements, and rising customer expectations are reshaping how vehicle logistics operates — and how it is led. The latest Global Fleet eBook “Inspiring Leaders Shaping the Future of Fleet” brings together leadership perspectives from across the industry, focusing not on quick fixes, but on how leaders navigate uncertainty, responsibility, and long-term transformation. One of these perspectives comes from our CEO Umut Dasdemir, who reflects on leadership shaped by entrepreneurship, operational responsibility, and continuous transformation.

VAD represents the interests of independent automotive retail in Germany and is committed to creating future-oriented framework conditions for the industry. Key focus areas include digitalization, new sales models, sustainability, regulatory and political frameworks, and the continued development of mobility for the future. As a digital partner for car transport, vehicle transport, and automotive logistics, carmovia sees it as a clear objective to actively support these interests. Efficient, transparent, and flexible vehicle transport solutions are a critical building block for a competitive automotive retail sector — from factory logistics to delivery at the final destination. The automotive trade faces major challenges: increasing logistical complexity, growing cost pressures, digitalization, and changing market demands. Efficient, transparent, and flexible vehicle transport is a crucial success factor. As a digital freight forwarding and dispatching partner for commercial vehicle transport, carmovia supports car dealerships, dealer groups, and fleet operators throughout Europe. The partnership with the VAD (Vehicle Distribution Center) is a logical step for us to collaborate even more closely with the automotive trade and further develop practical solutions.
