Fleet Europe Days 2025 – Innovation through Modularity and Intelligence

On October 22 and 23, more than a thousand fleet and mobility professionals from across Europe came together at LuxExpo The Box in Luxembourg for Fleet Europe Days 2025.

The event — a unique combination of conferences, the Fleet Europe Village, and the Remarketing Village — once again proved to be the beating heart of Europe’s mobility ecosystem.

For carmovia, being part of this year’s event as an exhibitor in the Remarketing Village was more than just an opportunity to network — it was a chance to showcase our vision for the future of vehicle logistics and to connect with industry leaders shaping what’s next.

The Future of Vehicle Logistics is modular

A highlight of the event was our Village Roadshow presentation by Colin Rolf Josef Kaniyampalackal, Operations Manager at carmovia, titled “The Future of Vehicle Logistics is Modular.”
Colin introduced our modular logistics architecture, designed to make vehicle logistics more digital, transparent, and efficient — whether for single-vehicle transport or complex fleet movements.

At the core of our platform lies a SaaS-based modular system, consisting of three complementary elements:

  • Marketplace Function – with over 1,800 verified partners, seamless order handling, and insurance coverage up to €70,000 per vehicle.
  • Direct Allocation Module – enabling customers to integrate their own carriers, retain full control and manage all workflows digitally within the carmovia environment.
  • Auction Module – offering market-based pricing, flexible capacity utilization and dynamic partner allocation.

All modules can be used in parallel — giving clients the freedom to tailor their logistics processes according to volume, urgency, and capacity.
The result: full process control, transparent pricing, real-time tracking, and end-to-end digitization

“Vehicle logistics today requires more than just a marketplace.
It requires a modular solution that manages costs, time, and capacity — all in one system.”

Between AI and Autonomous – When Data becomes a driver

Another standout of this year’s program was the session “Between AI and Autonomous”, featuring Eden Shirley (CEO, Autoguru) and Edward Kulperger (Senior Vice President, Geotab). Their discussion addressed one of the most pressing questions of our time: How can artificial intelligence transform fleet operations — beyond automation, toward autonomy?

As Edward Kulperger outlined, “data feeds AI — no AI without data.”
He introduced the concept of AI agents: systems that observe, plan, act, and evaluate, continuously learning from feedback loops. These agents will soon interact autonomously — for instance, a fleet telematics AI communicating with a service scheduling AI when a vehicle detects a fault code, triggering repair coordination automatically.

This philosophy mirrors what we at carmovia envision for logistics.
Our SaaS platform already forms the digital foundation for AI-enabled orchestration — a system where data from transport orders, carrier networks, and processes flow seamlessly, empowering AI agents to make logistics smarter and faster.

We discussed this evolution recently in our podcast with Sebastian Kreuzer, emphasizing how AI and modular system design go hand in hand: while modularity ensures scalability and transparency, AI enables automation, optimization, and predictive decision-making. Together they form the backbone of what we see as the next era of vehicle logistics — modular, data-driven and intelligent.

Five Key Insights from Fleet Europe Days 2025

Across the Remarketing Summit, Inspiring Women in Fleet and numerous expert sessions, several key industry trends became clear.
Here are five insights that will define 2026 and beyond:

  1. Electrification demands circular thinking

As highlighted by Gablini Automotive Group the transition to EVs is only sustainable when repair, reuse, and recycling become part of the value chain. Gablini demonstrated how battery repair can reduce waste and costs by up to 80%, strengthening both sustainability and profitability.
For logistics, this underlines the growing importance of specialized EV transport, battery-safe handling, and reverse logistics processes.
  2. China’s rise is reshaping Europe’s automotive balance

According to S&P Global Mobility, Chinese OEMs such as BYD, NIO and Xpeng are rapidly expanding in Europe — not only through direct sales models but also by reshaping supply chains and pricing dynamics.
With vehicle volumes rising and local production increasing, logistics adaptability and cross-border coordination will be critical success factors for European remarketing and transport networks.
  3. Data is the new remarketing currency

From the insights shared by ScaleVoice and AURES Holdings, it’s clear that AI-driven lead management and automation are transforming remarketing efficiency.
Whether for sourcing vehicles, managing customer communication or optimizing workflows, data-driven automation shortens “time-to-sale” — a trend mirrored in carmovia’s own digital dispatch platform, which integrates process data across all modules for faster, smarter decision-making.
  4. Retail models are evolving fast

The agency and direct-to-consumer (D2C) models discussed during the S&P Global sessions show that OEMs and new entrants are redefining the relationship between brand, dealer and customer.
This shift demands more dynamic transport chains — flexible enough to support direct deliveries, multi-country sales, and high-frequency remarketing movements.
  5. Collaboration remains the strongest driver of innovation

Panels such as the Remarketing Summit and Inspiring Women in Fleet emphasized one key message: innovation thrives through collaboration.
Exchanging perspectives — across disciplines, regions, and experiences — continues to move our industry forward.
For us at carmovia, these interactions reaffirmed our core belief: innovation through connection.

Our Commitment going forward

Our modular SaaS solution and upcoming AI integrations will empower customers to scale smarter, operate more transparently and manage complexity with simplicity.

A Thank You from the Team

We would like to thank the entire Fleet Europe team for hosting such an inspiring event.
And, of course, a big thank you to everyone who visited our booth, joined the discussions and shared their insights with us.
We’re already looking forward to Fleet Europe Days 2026 — and to continuing the conversation about how modularity, data and AI will transform the logistics of tomorrow.
